I live quite close to a cement factory. At daytime it’s just huge and grey but a night the whole things lights up (like the old Madame La Rue pinball). And the noise is amazing hizzing, fizzing and enormous BOOMs. Spooky as shit.
Sometimes a golf course freezes over. And something lurks in the misty dark.
Some summer night are just magical.
The ocean always draws me. This was shot on one of the coldest visits to the sea I’ve ever been on.
The other days I was driving through the forest where I spent most of my childhood when I saw this. I just had to pull the car over and whip out the camera.
This is a super hard edit. The original show a nice sunny day. I think it turned out pretty gothic 🙂
Another shot from the other days heavy fog when it was at it’s thickest. There’s just something about fog, when it swallows and muffles every sound. Like being inside a bubble.
The other day most of the town was coated in thick fog, but now and again we would find these pockets where the sun was shining through. Very surreal standing firmly on the ground staring straight into a cloud. This is the smoke from a cement factory, rising above the fog.
OH YEAH… MY COMMENTS ARE WORKING AGAIN
A little mood lighting for you.

This picture is hardly edited; just cropped.
Drove past this streetlight where smoke plumed throug the ligth.
I just love claire/obscure.
