Tickrock

tickrock 02tickrock 01

I går tilbragte jeg et par herlige timer med min gamle ven Theis / @tickrock. Han gik endda med til, at være lidt model

Yesterday I spent a couple of lovely hours with my old buddy Theis / @tickrock. He even agreed to model a bit

Mattias Ronge

I just got home from a couple of literary days at the Göteborg Book Fair Bok&Bibliotek. Among the many interesting people I talked and listened to was Mattias Ronge, who was talking about his new book “Den girige”. His book is a thrilling tale of what can happen when people want more than they need, and more than they can handle.
I asked him if he’d pose for a few shots, and this is one of those.

Sonisphere

Sonisphere
Sometimes I see people I just have to to take a picture of.
This is one of those people.
A guy (I don’t know his name) I walked by at Sonisphere Festival in Stockholm.
He just looked like a mean, intense and no-bullshit kinda guy. Wasn’t to happy a being photographed, but said it was OK since I was a dane 🙂

King og Kong

King og Kong
I’ll admit any day to being a full blown gaming nerd, and I have been for many years.

Recently I saw the epic documentary King of Kong. An epic tale of good and evil, lies, deceit and eccentric gamers, all in the world of gaming records. Good stuff for anyone (like me) who grew up in the heyday of arcade gaming.

Frontal lobotomy

Frontal lobotomy
This was taken in the awesome The Evolution Store in New York City.

A little strange shop full of things you never knew you wanted.

Naming this made me think of an old Tom Waits-interview where he says the faous words: \”I\’d rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy\”.

Green eyes

Green eyes
Funny. I was thinking about a title for this and just typed \”green eyes\”. But they\’re not green at all. Hmmm…

Ion

Ion
A while back I bought a small ceramic mask made by an artist called Jon who has Down\’s Syndrome. Then the other day I found this drawing at work, and it\’s just looks so much like the mask. Maybe Jon stopped by?

Happy 500

Happy 500
Yeah! 500 pics posted. Not every day but still going strong and posting from time to time.
These cute faces belong to angels made by the amazing ceramicist Kari Giebelhausen, whose work I\’m soon gonna be photographing. Gotta be fun
